After graduating from the University of Washington in 1985, I arrived in the Wood River Valley for what I thought would be a brief summer adventure before graduate school. Nearly four decades later, this stunning mountain community has been my home—a decision I've never regretted. The valley's vibrant, welcoming community, breathtaking seasonal landscapes, and year-round outdoor lifestyle captured my heart from the start.

My personal connection to this area runs deep. I spend my time hiking, mountain biking, paddleboarding, camping at local lakes, and attending summer concerts. Winter finds me alpine and cross-country skiing or snowshoeing through pristine mountain terrain. I'm even working on improving my golf game beyond the mini-golf course.
